One of the characteristics of the success of the Raiffeisen Granitmarathon is the attractiveness for all mountain bikers. From professionals to beginners, every mountain biker can choose the optimal route length and get a taste of racing. The Granitland light route in particular is predestined for entry into the marathon scene. With a route length of 26 km and 700 hm, the distance is manageable and can be managed without months of preparation. With their own start in the mountain bike arena in Kleinzell at 10.45 a.m., the “lighters” are among themselves and can enjoy the impressions of the Mühltal. The community spirit is in the foreground here and gives the race a special flair. Crossing the finish line in the marquee, to frenetic applause from the audience, makes you proud and, above all, makes you want to travel a longer distance next year!
