Infos about the competition: 50 km Klassik
Description
The 50km classic routes offer everything that the experienced classic racer could wish for. Sharp climbs and descents, interesting routes through the woods and all surrounded by the beautiful panoramas of the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains. The heart of the course is the unique Plaik trail which, after the challenging climb, offers lovely descents and wonderful views. The stretch on the Wald trail before the finish line is also a sleeper hit for those who love classic trails.
The challenging classic trail must be taken twice (50km) and is thus the leading discipline of the biggest cross-country ski classic in Austria.
All athletes, who start at the long distances, automatically will be evaluated at the VISMA Ski Classics Challenger Rating.
